Professor of Philosophical Foundations of Education - King Saud University
Saudi academic and thinker, currently holding the position of Professor of Philosophical Foundations of Education at King Saud University. He is considered one of the prominent figures in the Saudi philosophical scene, having contributed to the establishment of the Riyadh Philosophical Circle and being a founding member of the Saudi Philosophy Association, which he currently chairs.
He has made various intellectual contributions, including his book Philosophy of the Other: The Other Between Sartre and Levinas and the Joy of Hospitality, which was nominated for the longlist of the Sheikh Zayed Book Award in its 16th edition. He also published Philosophy When Listening in the Dark, which offers philosophical reflections on topics such as silence, apology, and death.
In addition, he hosts the Socrates podcast, where he discusses various philosophical topics. He regularly participates in cultural events and conferences, such as the LEARN 2025 conference in Riyadh.
